The TalentNZ initiative builds on the thinking of Sir Paul Callaghan who envisioned New Zealand as ‘a place where talent wants to live’. Through our Sir Paul Callaghan Science Meets Humanities Scholarship two young scholarship recipients asked 30 Kiwis seven questions, resulting in 210 ideas. We were looking for people who were primarily doers and makers, who think deeply and care passionately about what they do. The project aims to further the concept of moving New Zealand towards a talent-based economy.
On the TalentNZ website, you can search the 30 Kiwis interviews by individual, by question, by talent or by city. Interviews will be placed on the website daily throughout the month of November – you can follow these on our blog or the TalentNZ website.
Read the Journal, follow the conversation and join the TalentNZ Network.
In the Journal we have published the 30 Kiwis interviews, along with essays from contributing writers, and data with a focus on cities and the economy. The Journal retails for $15 and can be purchased at selected stores or visit our online store here.
As Sir Paul Callaghan said, join us on this journey…
