Sally Hett and Wendy McGuinness contributed an article titled Cīvitās: Aligning technological and sociological transformation to the May 2016 issue of Policy Quarterly. The article is dedicated to the late Dr Ranginui Walker, a member of the Constitutional Advisory Panel (CAP) who encouraged constitutional discussion in New Zealand. This article is one of three written on The Civics and Media Project.
The article explores how New Zealand might work towards developing a national strategy for civics and citizenship education (as recommended by the CAP). It also identifies five public policy ideas to explore. To read our article, download Policy Quarterly from the Institute for Governance and Policy Studies website.
